Silver Bells Dangling Bells Christmas Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I'll be using the Silver Bells dies along with a few other stamp sets from last year to create a Christmas card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Silver Bells Dangling Bells Christmas Card by Eloise Blue

To start off I used the Silver Bells dies to cut some bells from silver and gold cardstock and adhered the opposite ring and star on top of each of them. Then I used the Holiday Style stamp set to stamp two branches with green inks. I die cut those out also with the coordinating dies. For my background, I used some Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and ink blended them onto a piece of white cardstock. I then adhered down my branches and then the silver bells over top, using flat and dimensional adhesive.

For my sentiment, I used the banner from Little Angels and the sentiment from Holiday Style. I stamped the banner with black ink first, then stamped most of the sentiment in black too, but finished it off with stamping Joy in red. I then used the Little Angels coordinating dies to die cut out the banner and adhered it to my panel. I poked holes through the bells at the top, threaded through some red twine and tied each on with a bow. To finish up the card, I adhered my panel onto some fun foam, then adhered it onto a card base that I adhered some red plaid paper on top of.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I'll catch you all next time.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Winter Christmas Card with Kay Miller

Hi there! Kay Miller here, and I am super happy to be guesting again with Sunny Studio Stamps! Their cute designs always bring a smile to my face!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Playful Polar Bears Winter Themed Christmas Card by Kay Miller

For my card here, I used the Playful Polar Bears stamp set and coordinating dies. The little trees in the background are from the Christmas Home stamp set. For my background I used Distress Ink on Bristol Board. I blended Peacock Feathers over the whole panel and added Mermaid Lagoon across the top. I sprinkled that with water and then some white ink.  I cut two snowy hills for my scene, and glued those flat to my blended panel. All of the images were colored with Copic markers.

I love the way the coordinating dies cut little slits along their hands and arms so you can tuck the items underneath them! So fun! I added the trees with liquid adhesive and tucked them behind the snowy hills, then adhered the bears and gift box with foam tape. The sentiment is from Playful Polar Bears stamp set and Christmas Home stamp set. I embossed it with white embossing powder and adhered them with foam tape as well.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out all of the fun stamps and dies at Sunny Studio Stamps!

Snow & Frosty Flurries Winter Background Christmas Card with Lexa

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a Christmas card inspiration highlighting the brand new background stamps from Sunny Studio, Frosty Flurries and Snow Flurries. And for this card, I'll be combine those two to create my background.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Snow & Frosty Flurries Winter Background Christmas Card by Lexa Levana

First of all, I embossed the sentiment from Festive Greetings Stamp with silver embossing powder and heat gun. Then I embossed both Frosty Flurries and Snow Flurries, I don't even mind if they are overlapping each other. Then I blended Peacock Feather and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink over the card. The coolest thing about this technique is when you blend those inks on the paper, the embossed stamps will resist. The glossy effect is super cool!

As for my scene, I use the Christmas Chapel and some ornaments from Christmas Home to complete the whole scene. Isn't that snowman the cutest? I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolored them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I die cut them all with the coordinating dies.

Thank you so much for visiting today. I hope you all have an amazing day!

Jolly Gingerbread Snowy Hilltop Gingerbread House Card with Vanessa

Hi there! Vanessa here today with a new card using Jolly Gingerbread. Did you ever make a real gingerbread house? I tried once and failed - but with these stamps you can create the cutest gingerbread scenes easily :)

Sunny Studio Stamps: Jolly Gingerbread Snowy Hilltop Gingerbread House Card by Vanessa Menhorn

I first hand-cut a snowy hill from white cardstock, stamped my sentiment and adhered the hill to the blue card base. Now I stamped the images, colored them with Copics and fussy-cut everything.

25 Days of Christmas Tags with Franci, Lexa & Mendi

Hello there!  We're so excited to be joining you today to share some fun ideas for holiday gift tags for Day 8 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags!  :)

Sunny Studio Stamps: 25 Days of Christmas Tags using Petite Poinsettias by Franci Vignoli

Hello there! Franci here with you today with some festive tags! I'm super happy to be part of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2017 by Tracey!!

I created these tags with the Petite Poinsettias and the Festive Greetings stamp sets. I die cut them with the Tag Topper Dies -Traditional and I colored them with Distress Inks. The colors that I used are: Spiced Marmalade, Tumbled Glass, Shabby Shutters and Abandoned Coral. I sprinkled them with a little with water, and then put a paper towel on the top to remove the excess water and let them dry.

I stamped all my poinsettias and I die cut them with the coordinating dies. Then I stamped all of my sentiments onto my tags with the Versamark ink and heat embossed all of them with a silver embossing powder. Finally, I glued all of the flowers in place and added some twine and ribbons to make them extra festive. Perfect for all my Christmas gifts!

Next up is Lexa... Hi there!  Today I used the Cresent Tag Topper Dies to make my tag.  I used the largest one which is 3" wide. Since I'm totally a dog person, I choose this adorable puppy from Pet Sympathy and add the Santa hat from Jolly Gingerbread Stamps. This little friend originally had a heart on his mouth, but I replaced it with a Christmas sock from Playful Polar Bear instead. The present comes from the older stamp set, Christmas Icons, just like it's name you can find anything related to Christmas in one stamp set.

I blended some Mowed Lawn Distress Inks for the background and stamped some cute paws with green dye ink. A classic red, green and gold won't hurt at all. It's simple and lovely as always. I use matching thin ribbon and twines, and finished it with some pretty sequins.

For the last set of tags, I couldn't resist joining in the fun with some tags of my own using our Sunny Semi Circles dies for the tag shape and Polar Playmate stamps (& various other sets) for embellishing.  ;)

I cut a 2.5" wide x 4" high tag from white cardstock which I masked off for the snow drift before applying Shaded Lilac distress ink to my background and rounding the bottom corners.  I then stamped the background twice with our mini Frosty Flurries stamps which I heat embossed with white pearl embossing powder.

Then for each tag, I cut two more from black polka-dot paper measuring 3" x 4.5".  I wanted my tags to look as cute on the back as on the front so I adhered my cardstock tag to the patterned paper and stitched around the edge before adhering the second piece cut from patterned paper to the back of my tags.  Once they were adhered together, I was able to use my Crop-a-dile to punch a hole in the top and set an eyelet to run my twine through.  I love the finished look an eyelet gives to gift tags, don't you?
